Tara Wright, Executive Director

Tara is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings a wealth of leadership experience and knowledge in Christian education to the organization. She began her career as the Early Childhood Director at Christ Fellowship, a mega-church in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She later transitioned into the role of Program Director with Classical Conversations, a national educational program “that supports homeschooling parents by cultivating the love of learning through a Christian worldview in fellowship with other families.” Tara has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1997. They have 3 children and one grandson!

Jen Graves, Program Director

Jennifer got involved in The Buggy Bunch as a mentor for one of the morning Bible Studies several years ago. She then led a few studies before she began to homeschool her children. She has been in Christian Ministry leadership as a Coordinator for American Heritage Girls, then a Program Director for Classical Conversations, a nationwide home education program. Jennifer spent the months before she came on staff as an Administrative Assistant at Pathway Church, where she has attended for 10 years. She loves serving others, and has a real heart for people. She has been married to her husband Brent since 1999, and they have three young adult children. Her hobbies include reading, spending time with her family, and enjoying time at the beach.

Leslie Bowen, Development Director

Leslie, originally from Michigan, has lived in Florida since 1997. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications which she utilized in various sales and marketing positions. The Lord led her to Christian ministry, teaching grammar school art history at Master’s Academy. Helping in various ministries within her church, and involvement on the Indian River Homeschool Association as a board member has increased her love of serving others. As a mother of three, she is drawn to the mission of The Buggy Bunch which is to serve, assist, and equip moms while sharing the love of Jesus.

April Muller, Parent Coordinator

April Muller, a Vero Beach resident since 2000, joined The Buggy Bunch in the summer of 2012 through their Bible Study entitled Soul Food. Though her two children were past the “buggy” stage, the Bible Study experience made her feel as though the mission to spread the Gospel was a practical possibility. April has a clear calling to make other moms feel welcome and loved and utilizes her skills as Parent Coordinator at The Buggy Bunch. She and her husband, Derek, have been married since 1994.

Calista Littleton, Education Coordinator

Calista was born and raised in Vero Beach. She graduated high school in 2019 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management in 2022. Calista became a part of The Buggy Bunch in 2019 and served as the Administrative Assistant until 2022 when she became the Volunteer Director at The Buggy Bunch. She has been married to her husband, Paul, since January of 2022. Calista also attends King’s Baptist Church where she serves in the Children’s Ministry. In her free time, Calista loves to enjoy the beach, play volleyball, and spend time with her friends & family.

Brittany Hengst, Admin Assistant

Brittany came to Vero Beach in the summer of 2011 after graduating from Liberty University with her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Arts. In 2012, she found and became a member of King’s Baptist Church where she enjoys serving in the nursery and music ministry. She has two young children and enjoys traveling, reading/listening to audiobooks, trying new things and having deep conversations with people about real life. She also loves to use her love of typography to create fun art prints with her favorite Scriptures, quotes and lyrics.

Kelsey Frago, Finance Director

Kelsey was born and raised in Indiana and after attending Hope College in Holland, MI moved to Vero Beach to escape the cold. She met her husband at Our Savior Lutheran Church and they were married there in 2014. Kelsey previously worked at Harvest Food & Outreach, now United Against Poverty, before becoming a mother to her three boys. She feels called to be a part of the team at The Buggy Bunch because they are making a positive impact in the lives of mothers in Indian River County. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys reading and spending time outside with her boys.

Taylor White, Volunteer Director

Taylor White, a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, married her husband, Daren, in 2018. Together, they are raising three beautiful children who have grown up attending and participating in Buggy Bunch programs. Inspired by the support she received during the early days of motherhood, Taylor felt called to join The Buggy Bunch team to help create a positive impact for moms, just as she experienced.
